RAMS Tech is expanding and we are therefor looking for an availability/system safety engineer who is tempted by an inspiring environment and has the will to take the company further towards new goals. We are looking for reinforcement mainly towards our costumers within the energy and railway sector. RAMS Tech offers a creative environment where you will be a part of a team of competent and dedicated colleagues, who all are experts in offering specialised services.

We are looking for a person with an interest in technology and an academic education with a degree in Master of Science, or the equivalent, preferably with some years of work experience. Experience from the energy or railway sector, or the above-mentioned methods are of course meritorious, but not a requirement. Instead you shall be capable of learning new methods as you go along.

You have a distinctive analytic and systematic ability and are at the same time results-oriented. Since the assignments are performed in close collaboration with our customers, it is necessary that you are a team player with the ability to create good relations. The assignments rely on that you are able to work independently and take initiative. We assume that you are well familiar with the English language and can express yourself in writing as well as verbally.

About the position

The assignments can vary from smaller single analyses to complete responsibility for the availability and system safety in larger projects. Useful methods can for example be risk analyses, fault tree analyses, life cycle cost analyses, maintenance analyses and requirement engineering. Documentation concerning planning, implementation and reporting are often part of the project. As a consultant, you will lead and perform the assignment in cooperation with the customer and with the internal resources within the company.

RAMS Tech is a consultancy company located in Västerås working with availability, system safety, maintenance, requirement engineering and risk analysis of technical systems. We mainly work with specialist assignments from medium sized to larger companies who need increased competence within a short or long amount of time.
